Cake Competition……………… “Jubilee theme”
Ages up to 11 : Selection of 6 small decorated cakes
Ages 12- 16 : Selection of 10 small or 1 large, decorated cakes
17 & over :1 large decorated cake / elaborate pudding
Entries must be taken to the Community Hall between10 & 10.30 a.m. Saturday June 4th.They must then be collected by 4 pm. (It was hoped that these cakes could then be used by families in their home/ street celebrations on the Sunday)
Prizes for the winner of each section….A certificate plus, either a bottle of bubbly or a book token . The competition will be judged by Marina & the winners of each section will be displayed in the hall during the cake & coffee afternoon
Flag Competition……………… “Jubilee theme”
The “flags” can be made out of any medium, paper, cardboard, material etc but must be 2 sided and A4 minimum size. The flag must be fastened onto a “pole/ cane/ long stick” of approx. 36” (90 cm).
Entries must be taken to the Community Hall between 10 & 10.30 a.m. Friday June 3rd, so that after judging they can all be used to decorate the slate garden for the duration of the Jubilee weekend.
There will be 3 sections according to age:
Ages up to 11, Ages 12- 16 & 17 & over !
